This weekend’s marketing shoot took place at B’nai B’rith Perlman Camp, an overnight camp nestled in Lake Como, PA, adjacent to the more well known Starlight, PA.
More than 230 teenage members of the B’nai B’rith Youth Organization (BBYO) gathered from all over the world to begin a three-week leadership conference in which they will learn to harness their strengths, improve upon their weaknesses, develop innovative initiatives, and exchange creative ideas that will help to further the growth of the youth movement in which they are apart, and they themselves lead.
While some of these pictures will come later, I can’t help but highlight the camp’s stunning rustic surroundings.
Lake Como is located in the ‘Poconos,’ specifically Wayne County, a mountainous countryside spotted with a number of tiny towns in between seemingly infinite farmland. Wildlife including deer, black bears, rabbits, chipmunks, and a variety of birds, in addition to an abundance of cows, are commonly seen. Rolling mountains, streams, creeks, and the occasional lake perfectly frame a naturally picturesque landscape.
If it weren’t for the darkness of night, sustained downpours, flooding and debris, I would have experienced a pleasant and beautiful drive up. But due to these inconvenient realities, it wasn’t until the first leg of my drive home that I had an opportunity to absorb the majestic sprawl of the Pocono Mountains.
Enjoy.
