Last week my gorgeous partner in crime and I traveled to the absolutely breathtaking island of Aruba. White, sandy beaches; warm, transparent water with a turquoise hue; and gorgeous weather – what more could one ask for.
We stayed at the far end of resort row, at the Ritz Carlton, which had just opened a few months earlier. While it appeared that they were still trying to find their groove, generally, the service was exceptional.
And to highlight one particular slice of heaven – if you ever find yourself staying at the Ritz, or nearby – be sure to make time to have dinner at Les Crustaces. Words cannot express how fantastic the food is (try the foie gras and swordfish).
While we spent five days in paradise, a mere 40 minutes was spent behind the lens. I guess I was just too busy with all the poolside lounging, eating, and a smidge of gambling. All jokes aside, it was rather nice to vacation without worrying about grabbing some great shots to bring home.
BUT, I still managed to catch a few scenes I was pleased with. I hope you like them too.
